01/04/06 - From Alpi Aviation Pordenone the new Pioneer 200

Lucio Nocco and Antonio Santoro flew from Alpi Aviation Pordenone another brand new Pioneer 200.
The transfer of the aircraft, along the route Venice-Rimini-Ancona-Chieti-Taranto-Termoli up to our airfield, despite the uncertain initial weather, it was exciting. Celebrated the two pilots to their landing.
Now we await for the delivery of the Pioneer 300 Hawk, beautiful airplane retractable gear and super accessoried bought for hire to members

 

23/12/05 - Delivery of the eagles to newly patented

In the presence of all the pilots and owners of airfield, the director of the school gave diplomas and eagles to new pilots. Unexpected and welcome was the delivery of a beautiful plaque to remind pupils of the Course "Eagle" to their instructor

 

17/12/2005 - Examinations for the Certificate of Pilot !!!

L.Col. Giuseppe Casalino, as the instructor examiner responsible of Aero Club of Italy, has reviewed, on board the Pioneer 200, the students of our school for the achievement of the Certificate of Pilot.
All pupils presented in this session have successfully passed the examination and, therefore, Luigi Alessandrelli, Antonio Lentini, Lucio Nocco, Tonio Specchia, Francesco Sticchi are, today, VDS PILOTS!
The instructor Antonio Santoro and the entire staff of flight school Air Salento are particularly happy of the results and will complement the new pilots. Greetings

 

14/12/05 - Here's another student takeoff as "Solo" Pilot

Lucio Nocco is the other student takeoff as "Solo" Pilot on board the Pioneer 200. Perfect Landing, bravo !!!

 

2/12/05 - English and Italian Radiotelephony tests in Rome

9 have been, until now, our students to have successfully passed the examinations radiotelephony in Italian and English that were held in Rome at the Ministry of Communications.
After Antonella Viola, Andrea Castellaneta, Salvatore Russo, Stefano Presicce, Vito Fasano, also Arnaldo Alfarano, Antonio Carcagnì and Claudio Cataldi have obtained the Certificate of radiotelephony

 

28/11/05 - Another student takes off as "Solo" Pilot

Another student, Antonio Lentini, takes off with the Pioneer 200 for his first "Solo" Pilot flight, while, on the ground, his fellow students are happy for him. It had been a nice flight and, of course, unexpected.

19/10/05 - Another flight "Solo" Pilot !!!

Another student, Francesco Sticchi on board the Pioneer 200 and without his instructor, takes off and, above all, he lands on its own. Molto bravo

 

9/10/05 - Made the first two flights "Solo" Pilot

In the presence of their colleagues and many fans, all with the nose upwards, on board the Pioneer 200, Tonio Specchia and Luigi Alessandrelli assisted ashore by their instructor Santoro, had their first "Solo" Pilot flight out, whether one than the other, with a perfect circuit and landing. Thanks to the work done by our Director Antonio Santoro, with great satisfaction of all members, was published by JEPPESEN, Bottlang Manual Airfield, the map of our airfield

 

1/1/05 - VDS flight into Brindisi FIR

Were published on AIP-ITALIA, authorizations for the activity of VDS Flight issued by ENAC until the date of 15 December 2004. As for Brindisi FIR, having been issued a general authorization for the "Salento Peninsula Area", with effect from 1/1/2005, anyone can fly with ultralight aircrafts, as specified:

within "R-60 Lecce" (except Lecce-ATZ) and in a corridor of 0,5 NM joining point 40° 11' 00" N - 17°55' 00" E (Porto Cesareo) to point 40° 23' 30" N - 18° 00' 00" E (Campi Salentina).
The flights are allowed from GND to max 500 ft. AGL, from sunrise to sunset every day and after coordination with Lecce APP (tel. +39 0832 262936 - fax +39 0832 262429
